Not only is Cody Erickson a talented new and upcoming representational painter, but he is also the hunkiest man in Los Angeles (and of course, my hubby!). His studio space in our apartment is truly inspiring; as I take my day off to relax, I can't help but admire his most recent painting studies along with his beautiful studio set up. Needless to say, I'm feeling inspired =)

...On such a winters day! My mother just sent me photo of the snow falling in northern Michigan today. Can't believe it reached almost 90 degrees here in Los Angeles last week! Thought I'd share a few pictures from Malibu.

My twin sister is getting married this summer in Grand Rapids, Michigan and asked me to do the calligraphy for her wedding. Their theme is old literature but they would like to have a modern twist on everything! I've been tossing ideas back and forth with her for what style she wants; we're still in the brainstorming process. Can't wait for the big day!

I've been keeping busy with my job(s) at Sugar Paper as retail manger/freelance designer and am so excited about seeing all my artwork pressed by our talented and diligent pressmen!
